Last night Love And Hip Hop Atlanta season 2 premiered, and by the looks of the first show, we can expect a lot of foolishness. The entire cast are involved in some sort of drama, but the one that stands out to me, is the love triangle between Stevie J, Joseline Hernadez, and Mimi Faust.
As much as we entertain this mess, I think it is important to look at it from a different stand point. I watch the show because, true enough it is entertaining, which is more than likely the reason others watch it. The ratings don’t lie, and money talks for Mona Scott.
As I watched yesterday show, I didn’t know whether I should believe what was happening between Stevie J, Joseline, and Mimi was real, or were they playing a role. There was so much disrespect between the three of them, it is unbelievable.
If you remember last season, Mimi and Stevie J broke up, because he wanted to keep a relationship with Joseline, who he is manager of, but he was having sexual relations with her as well. When this season premiered, Mimi was back in the house with Stevie J, which last year Joseline lived with Stevie J.
Mimi claimed it was temporary until she found her a place, but from the looks of it she was really considering trying to rekindle their relationship. What makes matter worse, while Stevie J, and Mimi were talking, Joseline walked into the house, with barely any clothes on.
She approached Stevie J, to tell him to leave with her to handle some deals, but in the middle of all that, she disrespect Mimi and called her Molly maid. Furthermore, she told Mimi she was going to take her man away from her again. Now let me point out, while this was going on, Stevie J did not defend Mimi at all.
Literally, he didn’t put Joseline out, she left on her own. A fierce Mimi, argued with Stevie J about why he allowed that situation to happen. As Mimi became angrier, she tried to bite the man at one point. However, as usual, Stevie J responded with laughter, as if he thinks everything is a joke, and any situation could be fixed with money.
Whenever Stevie J has an altercation with one of these women, he throws money at them to fix the problems, as he did with Joseline earlier in the show. Although when he tried to make up with Joseline, with the purchase of a fur coat, Joseline admitted that she felt like a prostitute.
I am not sure why these women, continue to allow these degrading circumstances to take place. It is not that much money in the world that would allow me to make a fool of myself on national TV.
As the drama unfolds, it makes me wonder how Stevie J, Joseline, & Mimi past, more than likely, has a lot to do with what they accept, and how they allow themselves to be treated.
Maybe it’s just me, but some things are just way over the top. Yes, I will continue watching the show, and for Stevie J, Joseline, & Mimi, that is all that matters to them because they are getting check!
Do you think Stevie J, Joseline, & Mimi situation is a mess?
