Jenny McCarthy Set To Have New Night Talk Show On VH1
Are you ready? The Jenny McCarthy Show is almost here! Ex-playmate Jenny McCarthy is going to bring an after dark party, going against the normal talk shows we see on daytime TV. Well, it won’t literally be a party, but the atmosphere will make it feel like one.
The talk show will be unscripted, and authentic. During an interview, Jenny McCarthy stated,
“The biggest thing for me and for the brand that I created over the years is kind of tell it like it is, goofy, self-deprecating, honest,” she says. “And that was really hard to do, with daytime, which I was kind of playing in for a while. I was in development deals for a long time.
“So during that time, there was like an alarm going off inside me, saying something’s not right. And with today’s audience, if you’re not your authentic self, you’re dead. There’s no bulls— today. You can smell it a mile away if someone’s faking it. So I have less pressure, because I get to be myself. It may be crass for some, but it’s the reason why I’m on late-night cable.”
